Jeffrey J. Black, 62, of Woosung, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at CGH Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 26, 1955, in Freeport and worked for Walmart in Dixon. Jeff was a wonderful son, big brother, uncle, friend & man. He showed kindness to all & was loved by many. He worked hard, was a great archer, skilled model maker & painter.
He is survived by his sister Janet (Dan) Brown of Polo; nephew Justin (Heather) Brown, nieces Sydney Brown & Angela Black & great niece Adalyn Hill.
Jeff was preceded in death by his sister Dian Frager.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Honoring Jeff’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
