Betty Jean Quaco, 86, of Polo, passed away Thursday February 1, 2018, in Dixon. Betty was born February 27, 1931, in Ogle County the daughter of Jacob and Hilda (Hansen) Boom. On January 20, 1956, in Polo, she was united in marriage to Leon Quaco (he preceded her in 2004). Betty Jean worked for Central Quality Industries in Polo. She belonged to the American Legion and the VFW Auxillary.
Survivors include daughters Judy (Myrle) Moeller of Polo and Debra (Bill) Doty of Davis Junction; sons Greg (Regina) Quaco of Dixon and Dennis (Billie Jo) Quaco of Polo; 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild; and her loving companion Bill Freeman.
She was preceded in death by sisters Kate, Irene, Helen and Joyce; brothers Bob, Harry, Louie “Spike”, Jake and Donny.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Fairmount Cemetery, Polo.
