Adam James Murray, 33, of Mount Morris, passed away in his home on March 1st, 2022. He was born on May 7th, 1988 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Diane Flood. He graduated from Polo High School in 2006.
Adam’s smile and laugh was contagious, he gave the absolute best bear hugs. Adam would always have something witty and sarcastic to say to make you laugh or break the tension. He lived for the summers and floats down the river with his friends and hikes with his dog Osiris. He was a son to many, even the boogie man, the best brother, writer, artist, welder, and cook. He had one of the smartest minds. Being his sister was a blessing, he was always there for us when needed and his humor to lighten the dark. If you had the privilege to be his friend, you were quick to appreciate his light, love, smile, wit, and humor.
Survivors include his sisters Audra (Zachary) Schweska, of New York, Abby Murray, of Sterling Grandmother Marjorie Flood, of Polo, Aunts Denise (Daniel) Lowe of Irwin, Dawn (Mark) Frankfother of Polo, numerous cousins, his nephew Ellijah Schweska, niece Lillian Schweska, future niece River Mancera. Also, he is survived by his numerous friends, which were his chosen family and his chosen nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Diane Flood, Grandfather John J. (Jack) Flood, and his dog Isis.
A celebration of life will be Thursday March 10th, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Polo Family Funeral Home 110 E. Dixon St. Polo.
