Polo – Jack Clark Jr, 87, of Polo, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at his home.
Jack was born May 15, 1931, in Micawber, OK, the son of Jack and Abby (Dyer) Clark. On October 5, 1957 in Dubuque, IA, he was united in marriage to Arlys J. Hartman.
Jack was raised in the Micawber, OK area with a two year sojourn in California during the dust bowl years. He graduated from Paden High School in Paden, OK in 1951. Jack attended A&M University in Stillwater, OK graduating in 1957. He interrupted his studies to serve in the US Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include wife Arlys; sons Ron Clark of Murphysboro, IL, Stephen (Margaret) Clark of Dixon, Tom (Ruth) Clark of St. Paul, NE; sister Imogene Cheatwood of Harrah, OK; grandchildren Kristopher, Christian, Samantha, Patrick, Connor, Andrea, Aaron, Zachary and Elisabeth.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Tamara Kinn; granddaughter Michelle Kinn; sisters Frankie, Margaret; brothers Roy, Bobby, Charlie, Fred and Bill
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Polo Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Polo Family Funeral Home with private burial immediately following.
