James L. Linker, 45, of Polo, passed away Wednesday at his home.
Jim was born Dec. 8, 1973, in Dixon, the son of Leonard W. Linker and Sheri K. (Carden) Linker. He was self-employed as a mechanic in the area. Jim graduated from Polo High School in 1992. He enjoyed going to his son Logans sporting events, taking him fishing, teaching him mechanics and most recently how to drive.
Survivors include his Parents; son Logan James Linker of Byron; sisters Sharlyn Linker of Charleston, IL, and Shareen Buck of Polo; Aunts, Uncles, a Nephew and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Robert and June Linker and Russell and Hazel Smith.
Private services will be held with burial at Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.
