Florella Christina Kline Bender, 89, passed away September 20, 2024, at Grace Assisted Living in Caldwell, Idaho. The daughter of John W. and Inez Kline of Polo, Florella was born in Pine Creek Township on June 15, 1935.
In her youth, She attended Polo schools and was a cheerleader. In adulthood, she and her two sons, Rick and Randy, lived in Detroit, Michigan, while Florella worked for Budget Credit as a file clerk. She moved back to her hometown in 1967 and was employed by Central Quality Inc. as a Quality Control inspector until 1969.
Florella then married Kenneth L. Bender in Polo at the EUM Church on December 6, 1969. They both were proud parents to Rick & Randy (Flos) and David & Joanne (Kens).
In addition to her parents, Florella was preceded in death by her son Michael who passed in 1953.
She is survived by her two sons, 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Open Bible Church in Polo.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on June 3, 2025, at Fairmount Cemetery. Refreshments will follow the service at the Polo Senior Center.
