Carolyn A. Davison, 82, of Polo, passed away Tuesday Sept. 24, 2019, at home with family by her side. She was born Sept. 27, 1936, in Walnut, the daughter of Fred and Frances (Domer) Scheffler. On April 16, 1955 in Paynes Point, she was united in marriage to Willis “Bill” Davison (he preceded her on Feb. 10, 2015).
Carolyn grew up on a farm near Stillman Valley and after she was married Bill moved to Polo. She worked for Polo School District as a Secretary and also drove school bus for over 30 years. Carolyn enjoyed cooking, especially for others, hosting families in need and spending time with her beloved family. She looked forward to family vacations each year seeing all the kids and grand-kids smile and laughter was the highlight of each trip.
Survivors include daughters: Kris (Phil) Peterson of Polo and Julie (Cary) Robbins of Dixon; sons Scott (Barb) Davison of Cedar Falls, IA, Jeff (Cindy) of Afton, OK; sister Mary-Lou Moore; grandchildren Brent (Megan), Shane (Jessica), Kelly (Matt), Karen (Brett), Seth (Jenny), Caleb (Ashley), Jake (Caitie), Brinley, Luke; 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Lois Kelser and brothers Fred and Loren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. until start of service time at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 201 N Division Ave, Polo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in her name.
