Judie M. Pruitt, 72, of Polo, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford.
Judie was born April 3, 1947, in Polo, the daughter of Howard and Lucy (Harmon) Rucker. On July 19, 1968 in Polo, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Pruitt. She was a member of Baileyville Baptist Church and in her latter years attended the Polo Open Bible Church. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and dogs.
Survivors include husband Bill; sons Billy Pruitt of Peoria and Jeffrey (Connie) Pruitt of Poplar Grove; sisters Vernie (Mike) Swift of Forreston and Norma (Roger) Wakenight of Polo.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Polo Family Funeral Home, 110 E. Dixon St. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday with visitation one hour prior to the start of the service. A private burial will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
