Edward Jacinto Sr., 62, of Mt. Morris, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Swedish American Hospital.
Ed was born July 6, 1951, in Dallas, TX, the son of Carmen (Rangel) Hernandez. On February 17th, 1979 in Chicago, he was united in marriage to Karen Trost . Ed enjoyed helping others. He will be remembered for his unconditional love and kindness. Spending time with his family was of the greatest importance to Ed.
Survivors include wife Karen; daughters Salina (Brandon) Gurley of Mt. Morris, Karen (Nixon Key) Jacinto of Mt. Morris; sons Edward (Dana) Jacinto Jr. of Davis Junction, Matthew (Amanda) Jacinto of Oregon; sister Gloria Novak; grandchildren Michael Jacinto and Whitley Key.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Oregon Church of God, 860 W Oregon Trail Rd., Oregon, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Guthrie of East Oregon Chapel Church of God officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris immediately following the service.
