Benjamin Lee Koster, 34, of Sterling, formerly of Polo passed away on Tuesday (July 22, 2014) at his residence.
He was born on February 1, 1980 to David & Rae Ann (Minson) Koster. He is survived by his mother, Rae Ann (Larry) Baker of Dixon; his father, David Koster of Sterling; a sister, Mary (Kristopher) Haak of Byron; a niece, Emalynn Haak; his paternal grandfather, Elmer Koster of Sterling and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Alvera Koster and his maternal grandmother, Joann Wilkens.
Ben graduated from Polo High School and had attended Sauk Valley Community College.
A visitation will be held from 9-11 AM Saturday at the Polo Family Funeral Home in Polo with services to follow at 11 AM. Rev. Jeremy Heller will officiate.
Interment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established in his memory.
