Alice M. Shetler, 89, of Polo, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Polo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Alice was born February 14, 1925, in New Madrid, MO, the daughter of Edward and Minnie (Rosenberry) Jones. On July 18, 1942, in Pennsylvania, she was united in marriage to Vernon L. Shetler (he preceded her in 1994).
Survivors include daughter Carol J. (Larry) Steinhagen of Rockfalls; sons Vernon W. (Cheryl) Shetler of Polo and David (Sandy) Shetler of Morrison; 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by many Sisters and Brothers.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, from 10:00-11:00 AM at East Jordan United Methodist Church, 22027 Polo Road, Sterling, IL 61081. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial at East Jordan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
