Rose L Hoffman, 101, of Polo, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at Polo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was a homemaker.
Rose was born May 21, 1914, in Mt. Morris, the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Ridenour) Coddington. On July 6, 1940 in Clinton, IA, she was united in marriage to Russell Hoffman (he preceded her in 1949).
Survivors include daughter Judy Gillespie of Portland, OR; 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Rose is preceded in death by a son Bud Hoffman, 4 Sisters and 1 Brother.
Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Polo Family Funeral Home, 110 E. Dixon St., Polo. An 11:30 a.m. graveside service will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo.
