Joanne M. Bott, 66, of Polo passed away at 7:17 AM Sunday, October 25, 2015 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.
She was born on November 19, 1948 in Dixon to Adam & Bertha (Jacobs) Gleim. She married D. “Jack” Bott on November 5, 1967 in Ashton.
Survivors include her husband, her children: Pattie (Larry Hoover) Giedd of Lanark, Pam (Shane) Miller of Dixon, Kelly (Karl) Pickett of Naperville and Kevin (Jessica) Bott of Cortland; 10 grandchildren; her mother Bertha Gleim of Dixon and a sister, Carolyn (Kurt) Altenburg of Polo.
She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Barb Erisman and Arlene Schutte.
She graduated from Ashton High School.
She was a loving homemaker for many years before going to work as a pharmacy tech at Daws Drug Store in Polo and as a receptionist at KSB Clinic in Oregon.
A visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Polo Family Funeral Home in Polo and from 10:30 AM until 11 AM Thursday at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Shannon. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at the church. The Rev. Mike Jones will officiate and conduct graveside services at the Brookville Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial will be established.
