Dallas R. Greenwalt, 59, of Dixon, passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.
Dallas was born Nov. 30, 1962, in Sterling, IL. He was the son of Lendell and Bonnie Greenwalt. On July 5, 2013, in Dixon, IL, Dallas married Tracy Ferris. Dallas worked for Foster Coach in Sterling for over 15 years. He was an avid Ford collector and enjoyed taking rides with his wife on their motorcycle. He dearly loved his wife, children and granddaughter, Paisleigh ,which was the light of his life.
Survivors include wife Tracy; daughter Hollie Peterson of Walnut; sons Blaine Peterson of Amboy and Wyatt Greenwalt of Arizona; granddaughter Paisleigh Ehnle; brothers Don (Michelle) Greenwalt of Dixon and Darrell Greenwalt of Southern Illinois; father-in-law Terry (Karla) Ferris of Tennessee; mother-in-law Cindy (Steve) Bonnell of Dixon; sister-in-law Bridget (Cameron) Blaine of Dixon; brother-in-laws Brad (Jennifer) Ferris of Sterling and Cliff (Kneashia) O’Keefe of Tennessee; cousin and brother David (Mary) Greenwalt of Springfield, IL.
He was preceded in death by Parents.
A celebration of his life will be Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Polo Family Funeral Home, 110 E. Dixon St., Polo. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
