Donald E. Shrader, 82, of Polo, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at KSB Hospital in Dixon. Don was born December 16, 1935, in Freeport, the son of Max and Hazel ( Miller ) Shrader. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Don worked in Sales for Select Sires, serving farmers for over 20 years until his retirement. He enjoyed keeping up with his grandchildren’s activities and the local sports teams. Don was very generous with his time helping friends and neighbors wherever their need.
Survivors include sons Eric (Lynda) Shrader, Kyle (Sara) Shrader, Mike (Julie Jerdee) Shrader all of Belleville, WI; sister Evelyn (Bill) Meyer of Polo; brother Jim (Renea) Shrader of Polo; grandchildren Troy (Trina) Shrader, Travis Shrader, Austin (Jordan) Shrader, Derek Shrader, Jacob, Alex and Kathryn Shrader, Drew, Jenna and Ava Shrader; great grandchildren Tayla, Reed and Keira
Visitation will be Friday October 26, 2018 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 201 N Division Ave. Polo, with services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial has been established in his name.
