Donald “Don” P. Werner, 89, of Mount Morris, passed away Wednesday, May 31,2023, at Allure of Pinecrest in Mount Morris.
Don was born January 7, 1934 in the son of Fred and Pauline Werner. On February 20, 1955 in Mount Morris he married Ms. Wilma Silvius and together they celebrated 55 years of marriage.
Don farmed for several years in Mount Morris then went to work at Quebecor Printing. He was very active in volunteer work with the Mount Morris Food Pantry along with other organizations around the area.
He is survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife Wilma; brother Ronald Werner.
A graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 08, 2023 at the Dutchtown Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Milledgeville, IL.
