Elizabeth “Betty” J. Deuth, 94, of Polo, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling with family by her side.
Betty was born July 15, 1923, in Polo, the daughter of Floyd and Nellie (Walker) Cross. On February 14, 1951, in Polo, she was united in marriage to Elwin M. Deuth (he preceded her on March 11, 2002). Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She showed her love through cooking and sewing. Betty helped on the farm for many years taking care of both the animals and the home.
Survivors include her daughter Karen (Tom) Price of Wauwatosa, WI; son John (Jean) Deuth of Polo; grandchildren Steven (Jordan) Price, David (Laura Cook) Price, Daniel (Ashley) Deuth, Michael (Mallory) Deuth, Renee Deuth; great grandchildren Cade, Beckett, Cullen and Finley Price and Ellis Deuth. She was preceded in death by both sister and brother-in-law Marian (Harold) Ditzler; brother and sister-in-law Gavin (Betty Jo) Cross; her husbands sister and brother-in-law Carol (Bob) Duncan.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Faith United Methodist Church, 702 E. Dixon St, Polo, until service time at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Fairmount Cemetery also in Polo.
