Flora Jean “Jeanie” Samuel, 74, of Polo, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at her home. Jeanie was born, Feb. 23, 1941, in Rockford, the daughter of William A. and Flora M. (Runyard) Carter. On June 30, 1990, in Rockford, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Samuel. Jeanie worked as a Real Estate Agent locally for several years. She enjoyed roller skating, ice skating, interior design, helping at church functions, traveling and spending time tending to her garden.
Survivors include her husband Bill; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 Sisters, 1 Brother.
A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo, with a lunch to follow at the Polo Open Bible Church.
Honoring Jeanie’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
