Freeport – Gary A. Hutmacher, 75 of Cedarville, IL passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Provena St. Joseph Center in Freeport.
Gary was born Nov. 27, 1945, in Freeport, the son of Theron and Jacquetta Hutmacher. He married Ms. Susan K. Wieck on May 22, 1965 in Cedarville. Gary started in printing at the WT Rawleigh Co. in Freeport. He was a member of the Freeport Lions Club, Cedarville Emmanuel Church and an avid Chicago Whitesox, Chicago Blackhawk and Orangeville Bronco Football fan. Gary was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather and of course the proud owner of a John Deere lawn tractor.
Survivors include wife Susan; daughter Teresa (Peter) Knipschield of Red Oak, IL; brother Terry (Pam) Hutmacher of Wisconsin; grandchildren Amber (Matthew) and Ashley; great grandchildren Oliver and Hadley.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; brother Ronald Hutmacher; niece Jacquetta Hutmacher.
Visitation will be Monday, May 24, 2021 at Cedarville Emmanuel Church from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Freeport.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed in his name.
