Joan M. Villa, 80, of Polo, passed away Dec. 16, 2016, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford. Joan was born May 21, 1936, in Spring Valley, IL, the daughter of Linto and Dina (Bonuchi) Guerrerie. In the summer of 1953 in Rock Falls at St. Andrew Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Thomas Villa. Joan and her family are members of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She graduated from Newman Central Catholic High School, class of 1954. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors included daughters Catherine (Ron) McDermott of Polo, Lanet Villa Erickson of Rochelle; 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her sister Judy Guerrerie. Private services to be held in Spring Valley, IL.
