Kenneth E. Scaggs, 90, of Polo, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 at Franklin Grove Rehabilitation Center. Kenneth was born June 6, 1925, in Henry, IL, the son of Louis and Agness (Finelly) Scaggs. On July 6, 1952, in Ashton, he was united in marriage to Dorothy M. Hackman (she preceded him in April of 2011). Ken farmed in the Polo and West Brooklyn areas for many years.
Survivors include his many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by two Brothers and a Sister.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. till service time of 10:30 a.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church, 702 E. Dixon, Polo. Graveside burial will be 1:30 p.m. at the Ashton Cemetery following the luncheon.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Polo Historical Society or the Faith United Methodist Church.
