Kent A. Dearborn Sr., 50, of Polo, passed away Tuesday, December, 09, 2014, at KSB Hospital. He owned and operated K & M Salvage in Polo. Kent enjoyed spending time with his family and horseback riding. He was born July 21, 1964, in Davenport, IA, the son of James F. Dearborn and Beverly (Huber) Ballard. On December 20, 1990, in Oregon, IL, he was united in marriage to Florence Kump.
Survivors include wife Florence; mother Beverly; daughters Rose Dearborn of Dixon, Breanne Dearborn of Polo; sons Kent Dearborn Jr., Michael Dearborn both of Polo; sisters Debbie (Pat) Connor of Savanna, Patti Jackson of Dixon, Laurie Kump, Elaine McKee of Dixon, Tammy (George Monroe) Dunn of Dixon; brothers Terry Dearborn of Lanark, LaVern Dearborn of Fulton; grandchildren Aniah, Zander, Aubreanna, Kinleigh Dearborn.
He was preceded in death by his father, step-father Ron Ballard, infant granddaughter Sara Marie Dearborn.
A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m, Saturday, at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m, just prior to the service, at Polo Family Funeral Home, 110 E. Dixon St.
