Lewis L. Wilkinson, 85, of Polo, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The son of Kathleen Boehm & Kent Wilkinson, Lewis was born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, on April 26, 1939.
He served in the Navy and Marines, deploying on the U.S.S. Randolph. He went on to marry Dinah Kartman in a ceremony in Potosi, Wisconsin, on May 25, 1974. Lewis had a 43 year career working for Raynor Garage Doors and was a loving husband, dad and grandpa.
Lewis was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and spent his free time volunteering at Second Hand Rose in Polo with his wife, Dinah. He enjoyed spending time outdoors taking care of his lawn and in his earlier years he also enjoyed grilling for his family. Lewis was an avid reader, a dedicated Packers fan and enjoyed catching up on games with his sons.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dinah, sons, Terry (Stacy) Wilkinson and Tommy (Kathryn) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Ava, Lea, Tessa, and Bryson Wilkinson, Ireland Webb, Blake and Rhett Wilkinson; sister, Florence Raisbeck; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by daughter Tammy Webb and brother Rollo Wilkinson.
Visitation will be held at Polo family Funeral Home on Friday, March 28th, from 4:00 to 6:00pm. The funeral service will take place at St. Mary Catholic Church in Polo on Saturday, March 29th, at 10:00 AM. Graveside service will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
