Linda Anne Perrine

Linda Anne Perrine

Polo – Linda Anne Perrine, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on June 21, 2017, at Polo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was surrounded by her family and close loved ones.

Linda was born April 26, 1939 in (Berwick) Sterling, Illinois at home. She was the eldest daughter of Oscar Golden Lehman and Helen Marie (Buyers) Lehman. She was called “Lindy Girl” solely by her daddy. Linda was a graduate of Sterling High School class of 1957. Linda enjoyed working at the White Pines State Park cleaning cabins. Linda was devoted to ministering the gospel to everyone who came into her life, especially her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Most knew Linda as Ma Perrinie, Gma, Rinda, Grandma, Great Grandma, and Gram P. She enjoyed making notecards, bookmarks, and wood crafts. Linda is known for her barn scene pictures “His Harvest” that were given as gifts with a special blessing to follow. She took pleasure in compiling many genealogy books and cookbooks with friends and family. Linda loved her “church,” Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) via television. Being with her family at cookouts, grilling with Julie, and attending holiday dinners meant the most to her. Family was everything! Anyone who knew her knew that she had an encouraging word with Godly advice, followed by Scripture, a compliment, and an “I love you, honey!” She raised her children with, “I love you!,” “I trust you!,” “Please?” and “Thank you!” Linda’s motto was “You are special!”
