Michelle R. Goeking, 52, of Dixon, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at KSB Hospital in Dixon.
Michelle was born December 20, 1969, in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Bernard and Cheryl Goeking. She graduated from Polo Community High School in 1988. She then went on to Northern Illinois University where she majored in music and minored in piano performance. She journeyed on to pursue many different career paths, including being a licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master, pharmacy technician, a teacher of pharmacy tech students, and a published author of pharmacy technician training. Her passion for medicine pushed her to follow her dream of becoming a Pharmacist. She received her PharmD from the University of Illinois, Chicago, graduating in 2014. She was the current pharmacy manager at Snyders Pharmacy in Dixon. Michelle married Terry Scott Frazer on October 21, 2017. Michelle was known in the area for her gift of music, playing piano, her singing talent and performances in local theater. She wrote and recorded her own music and gave many recitals showcasing her gifts. She enjoyed traveling, attending Comic-con events and concerts, knitting, gardening, and taking care of her two fur babies Loki and Princess.
Michelle is survived by her mother Cheryl (Kane) of Polo; sisters Angela Goeking of Polo and Erin Goeking of Dixon; husband Terry Scott Frazer of Cherry Valley.
She was preceded in death by her father Bernard; maternal grandparents Robert and Jessamine Kane, paternal grandparents Harold and Lila Goeking.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Polo Family Funeral Home, 110 E. Dixon St., Polo. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 201 N. Division Ave, Polo. Burial will be immediately following at Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.
