Peggy Jean Silvius, 60, of Rockford (formerly of Polo) passed away Wednesday July 14, 2021 at Milestone in Rockford.
Peggy was born November 15, 1960, in Dixon, the daughter of Dwight and Doris (Weigle) Silvius.
She attended Bi-County Special Ed School in Morrison, Chadwick and graduated from Page Park School in Rockford in 1982. Before moving to Rockford in 1981, Peggy enjoyed being a member of the Milledgeville Hot Shots 4-H Club for several years. The members of the Club made it a joy for her to be able to participate and she never forgot their kindness to her. Peggy is a member of the Polo Church of the Brethren and would attend when she was home for visits.
Milestone has been a wonderful home for her and has provided her with worthwhile learning experience and employment. She has lived a happy and fulfilling life spreading joy to those she meets.
Survivors include sister Jill (Jeff) Adolph of Rochelle; brother Paul Silvius of Milledgeville; many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews along with friends and family at Milestone.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, at South Elkhorn Cemetery in rural Milledgeville.
